As you can see, we have just a few bottles of many many fines wines and we want offer them to you at a special $22 per bottle price. As we sell them, they will get crossed off the one master menu... The James W. Jackson Dining Room – named after the late James W. Jackson in recognition of his 28 years of exemplary and distinguished service to Appalachian State University.
The Jackson Dining Room, or JDR, is located off the main lobby of the facility. Wi-Fi is available. The JDR offers both ambiance and diverse dining options for leisure and group dining. Dine either near our majestic stone fireplace, made from local Tennessee black stone, or take in the beautiful 25 mile mountainous view from the completely windowed wall. Enjoying our Executive Breakfast Bar with the breathtaking sunrise over the mountain tops is a highlight for many of our guests. Our delightful cuisine, impressive views, and live student entertainment make the JDR a truly special place to “dine at the top."

Grand Sunday Brunch Buffet - Our showcase Sunday Brunch Buffet is one of the best in the High Country. Full breakfast and lunch selections are available including omelets made to order, carving station, and fresh seafood offerings, $23.95 including beverages, plus tax & gratuities. 10:45 AM - 2:30 PM Reservations recommended. Live student entertainment is featured for Brunch service.
Evening Dinner Service in the JDR - Served 3 nights per week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings. Enjoy our exquisite culinary selections from our Dinner Menu (pdf); add in a fine bottle of wine or a microbrew beer from our extensive Wine & Beer List (pdf); finish off with an exquisite dessert from our Dessert Menu (pdf). Couple these enjoyments with the ambiance and the tremendous views and your evening is set! For a night on the town with that someone special, a large gathering of friends and family, or a business occasion, the Jackson Dining Room is a unique experience for all. 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
