North Carolina Wines

The Broyhill Inn and the Jackson Dining Room proudly supports the North Carolina wine industry. We feature wines from vineyards across the state on our Wine and Beer List, available to be paired with all of our menu selections. The wine selection is also available through our Lobby Bar, as monthly specials and as an upgrade for a banquet event.



Allison Oaks Orchard White - Semi-sweet and fruity with flavors of peach and a balanced and lingering finish.



Banner Elk Seyval Blanc - Full-bodied with aromas of dried fruits and honey with a smoky texture and taste. Dry, yet fruity flavors and smooth throughout the finish.
Banner Elk Cabernet Sauvignon - Balanced tannins, full-bodied and richly textured. Aromas of dark berry fruit and sweet oak expand to blackberry and cocoa.


Benny Parsons Chardonnay - Aromas of pear, ripe apple, and nectarine laced with light oak overtones. The flavors are rich with tiers of creamy vanilla, fig, and wild fruit with citrus notes.
Benny Parsons Riesling - Peach, apple, lemon, and floral aromas with firm structure of grapefruit, apple, apricot flavors leading into a light mineral finish, almost effervescent in quality.


Childress Chardonnay - Apparent flavors of citrus, apple, and pineapple. The palate is at once minerally and round and accompanied by light acidity that finishes dry.





RagApple Lassie Merlot - Rich aromas of black cherry, chocolate and vanilla in this full-bodied Merlot with a soft, silky, lingering finish integrated with oak.









Shelton Riesling - Hints of peach, honey, and apricot and finishes with a crisp hint of Granny Smith apple.
Shelton Cabernet Franc - Black currant flavors, subtle herbal spice, excellent mid-palate structure and a graceful, elegant finish. Hints of tobacco and musk.



Westbend Viognier - Aromas of ripe strawberry, apricot and vanilla with flavors of pear and baked apple with a mineral finish.
Westbend Les Soeurs Reserve Cabernet - With aromas of pine forest, cigar box and leather, this dry red wine has flavors of cedar, black cherry and espresso.
